March Favourites

April is here! Which means that Spring is (kind of) here too. We’ve rounded up our Favourite products from the month of March and are excited to share them with you, as always!

Jade’s Favourites:

Herbivore Botanicals Charcoal cleansing bar: Helloooooo skin saver! I’ve been using this for almost 2 months now, and I can honestly say that I am noticing such a difference in my skin. What I love most about this is that it leaves my skin feeling really clean without feeling stripped or dry (I’ve tried the charcoal bar from Lush which left me feeling so dry). The bar form (instead of liquid) is also great, I feel like it lasts way longer, and the price point is awesome! I picked mine up at Chapters (I know, weird right?!) for $14.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour stick: I have been using this every day. Seriously! I feel like it gives a really nice natural looking contour. It’s really easy to blend and apply and lasts all day! It’s priced at $33 at Sephora which I personally think is pretty decent considering the amount that you get + the stick formula.

Lush Grease LightningBest. Ever. I used to use straight teatree oil on my acne breakouts, but I was finding it to be a little too drying, and the smell can be a bit strong. This is great because the smell is really mild and it actually works! I use it in combination with my Lapis oil from Herbivore Botanicals and its been working wonders.

Taryn’s Favourites:

Essie “Ballet Slippers”: This has my go-to nail polish lately! It is the perfect light shade of pink for Spring, and neutral enough to be worn everyday. I’m all for a bright polish every now and then (especially as we approach Summer) but I can’t help but gravitate towards the pinky/nude shades for everyday wear. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, I really do love the Essie polish formula!

Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment: I purchased this in March after finishing a bottle of the Kate Somerville “Eradi-Kate” acne spot treatment. I remember using this product before when I was younger, but forgot how much I love it! I definitely have to say that I am personally noticing more of a difference with this product than I did with the “Eradi-Kate”, and my wallet appreciates the lower price point as well…The great thing about this product is that it is clear, so if you need to spot treat throughout the day and don’t want to look like you are covered in pink spots, I recommend picking up this product from your local drug store!

Pink House Natural Solutions dry shampoo: This is my favourite powder dry shampoo by far! I love all of the products that I have tried so far from this local company, and recommend this particular product for those of you who try and stretch your hair washing to longer than a day or two. I am using the “Blondie” dry shampoo which is recommended for light/blonde hair, and they also have one specifically for dark hair called “Hot Chocolate” (so cute!). I personally love using natural, healthy products on my scalp/hair when I can, and would recommend this product to anyone in a heartbeat! Next on my wishlist from Pink House is the Raspberry Face Lotion.
